I loved Cake Shop 3. It was a very beautiful game. I was excited about the different things I had to do to build my shop the way I wanted it. I loved making the the different cakes, and I even got to know what customer wanted what. Just traveling around the world restoring cake shops. The visuals were detailed but somehow strange looking. Like the skin color of the people was grayish. I did enjoy upgrading the buildings and they turned out great when finished!. The background sounds were a little distracting and kind of gave me headache. I found it very easy to accidentally click on the wrong items and have to start a cake all over again which can slow you down considerably.
I would have liked it if the helper machine would have been available on more than one level. It was a good game. Although similar to burger shop in it’s conveyor belt and machine style of play, I didn’t enjoy cake shop 3 even half as much as the Burger Shop games. It should have been great, it has the same kind of gameplay, plus you upgrade buildings, but something feels lacking from it, for me anyway.
